Landmark Information Group Introduces LandmarkConnect to Streamline Home-Moving

Landmark Information Group has unveiled LandmarkConnect, a digital solution designed to enhance the efficiency of the UK's home-moving market. The platform aims to reduce unnecessary duplication and inefficiency in the industry, where property transactions currently take an average of 133 days in England and Wales.

LandmarkConnect comprises a series of open, standardised digital hubs that connect various segments of the home-moving industry in near-real time. This initiative enables property professionals to access trusted data, documents, and progress information seamlessly, expediting the transaction process for buyers and sellers.

The platform complements Landmark's Secure Panel Network, known for facilitating communication between lenders and surveyors in the mortgage industry. It now offers rich document exchange capabilities between multiple parties and is set to enter full service this summer. Landmark plans to expand its capabilities and connect more data across various hubs for industry stakeholders.

Landmark Information Group, with its extensive property data set spanning the entire property value chain, is well-positioned to drive the necessary changes to make the home-moving process more efficient. Although the rollout of LandmarkConnect will be phased, it represents an exciting prospect for transforming the UK's home-moving process, offering benefits for both consumers and industry professionals.
